    Has the possibility of Alabama rot being Porcine dermatitis nephropathy syndrome, been considered? When this went round my aunt’s farm several of her dogs came down with similar symptoms and died.

    Dogmother, thanks for your post. I’m not aware that Porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome (PDNS) has been considered in the development of Alabama Rot.

    I note the symptoms of skin lesions and kidney disease.

    I will post your comment to alabamarot.co.uk and will seek advice from some of my veterinary contacts.

      I think they got runny bottys with blood in them as well though. is that ever observed with Alabama Rot?
