Battle, East Sussex: Suspected Alabama Rot case

Senlac Vets report (Facebook & newspaper) a suspected case of Alabama Rot. The dog died on 11th February 2016 and the kidneys have been sent to the Royal Veterinary College for Alabama Rot confirmation.

The dog had walked in Battle Great Woods – the all CRGV cases map has been updated.

My dog had ulcer type wound on his nose then it spread everywhere the vets did not know what it was .He was given antibiotics then 5 days later he had to be put to sleep also had enlarged spleen and tumour.The ulcers really look like Alabama rot but no diagnosis was given.He was a King Charles Spaniel4 us old,Iam heart broken.
