Whippet who ‘always had autoimmune problems’ dies from confirmed Alabama Rot at Lyndhurst and Havant Thicket, Hampshire

On 14th January 2016 Anderson Moores reported “Sadly, one further dog has been confirmed as having died as a result of cutaneous and renal glomerular vasculopathy. In the 2 weeks prior to developing skin lesions and kidney failure the dog had been walked in Lyndhurst, Hampshire and Havant Thicket, Hampshire.”

The CRGV confirmed and all cases maps have  been updated with this news, the latter map includes a link to a Dorset Echo report.

A Portsmouth paper reported the owner Rachel Cole, said “Sparti always had autoimmune problems’.
